I have been in Jyväskylä this Christmas. This photo is from Jääskelä Nature Trail, 8 kilometers from the city. The sun was just above the treeline. No white Christmas here this year, but at least the temperature has been freezing. It is quite exceptional that the lakes are not frozen this time of year.
